Man rapes tourist on NYC subway after offering to show her around

The man offered to show the tourist the subway system in Manhattan. He then took her to the end of the station platform and raped her, reports Daily News.
A 21-year-old woman entered the subway station at 42nd Street and Eighth Avenue around 15:00 pm on September 1 when a man approached her.

According to police and sources, the man said he would show her around and drove with her through several stations.
The woman did not know where she was when the man took her to the tunnel at the end of the platform and raped her. The victim was taken to Bellevue Hospital for examination.

The police are looking for the rapist. Law enforcement officers published his identikit in the hope that someone could recognize the attacker.
