The climb starts from the Edge Observation Deck on the 100th floor. Guests are escorted up a dizzying series of staircases and platforms that lead higher and higher. It is enough to have $ 185 per ticket and a stock of courage.

With Edge, trained guides take participants on a dizzying climb up the wall. They climb a series of steps on the outside of the skyscraper wall. On the way, they visit a platform called the Cliff, from where they can view New York from a height of 360 meters.

The most stressful part of this adventure is climbing 161 steps at a 45 degree angle to the top of the building. Once they reach their goal, daredevils can experience the extra thrill of taking a look at the city from the Apex open-air observation deck. Nothing blocks them from panoramic views, stretching all the way to the Atlantic Ocean.

“This is a chance to bring the superhero fantasy to life at the top of New York,” said Cassie Davison, vice president of marketing for Hudson Yards Experiences.

Guests should receive a safety briefing before setting off. The whole process - briefing, ascent and descent - takes about two hours.

The organizers say the City Climb is also the world's tallest exterior building climb.
