Plane taking off from Kennedy Airport crashes in Westchester killing all on board

On January 19, a small plane crashed near Westchester County Airport in the evening. The crash killed both people on board. reports NBC New York.
A single-engine A36 Beechcraft Bonanza aircraft took off from JFK Airport in New York shortly before 17:00. It was heading to the Cuyahoga County Airport in Richmond Heights, Ohio, the US Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) notified. The pilot reported low oil pressure at 17:25 p.m. and then engine problems when the aircraft was about a mile from Westchester County Airport.
A few minutes later, the airport in White Plains lost contact with the plane.

On board at the time of the fall were two people - a pilot and a passenger, sources told NBC New York. After many hours of searching in a densely wooded area, county officials confirmed that the plane had been found and that two people were on it.
District authorities stated that the pilot and passenger died as a result of the crash. The search was conducted at the northern end of Rye Lake, on Cooley Hill Road in Armonk. The plane was found among the trees near the airport.
The tail number refers to the T&G Flying Club in Ohio. The identities of the dead have not yet been released.
It is not clear what caused the crash. The investigation will be handled by the FAA and the National Transportation Safety Board (NTSB). The NTSB will lead the investigation and provide any updates.
