2. Cranberry Lake
If you're heading to the upstate, Cranberry Lake Campground is the best choice. Lake Cranberry is one of the largest lakes in the Adirondack and a fantastic fishing spot. The 3,8 km Bare Mountain Trail is also one of the best short hiking trails in the area.

4. Park Glimmerglass
Glimmerglass Park is located near Cooperstown, on Lake Otsego. There are several paths in the park with a beautiful view of the lake. There are also opportunities for boating and water skiing, tubing and more.

5. Four Mile Creek Park
Four Mile Creek Park is located north of Niagara Falls. It has everything you want from a lakeside camping. Enchanting views, hiking trails and easy access to the largest waterfalls in the country.
