BK50 is back! In May of this year, the magazine Brooklyn Magazine will announce the second annual list of the 50 Most Charming People in Brooklyn. A list of people that, for better or worse, we can't take our eyes off. Here's last year's list in case you missed it.

Of course, it's only February now. And this is your role. Who are the most charming (not necessarily young, famous, powerful, cute or sexy) people in Brooklyn right now? Write about it in Brooklyn Magazine:[email protected] until 4 March. The magazine staff will then review your proposals with a diverse team of prominent local jurors. They will not read content from publicists, critics, PR firms, or paid promoters.

The magazine will highlight the most amazing people in the area right now across disciplines. It is Brooklyn's protagonists and eccentric neighbors who shape its future and character. These are the people you think you know and the people you need to know. They are power brokers and also people you haven't heard of yet - who are just doing their job. This work makes us think, makes us feel. It links us to the city in meaningful ways as we move into the third year of the pandemic.
