Canada offers Americans yearly passes to national parks

There are 48 national parks and reserves in Canada. Their vast landscapes are not just beautiful, they are good for mental and physical health. And Canada wants to share it with the Americans, reports AFARMore.

The country's tourism authorities Destination Canada and Parks Canada recently announced that Americans could win one of the 4000 Parks Canada Discovery Summer Passes.

“We are the closest neighbors. And we want to welcome our American friends by giving them access to places that will lift their spirits,” said Gloria Laurie, director of marketing for Destination Canada. “We have lush forests, endless coastlines, high mountains and spectacular lakes. But we also have something more. An opportunity to help Americans refresh and connect with nature.”

The pass costs $113. It gives you access to all of Canada's national parks, as well as its national marine reserves and historic sites. Participants have until 23:59 July 31 to participate in online competition. To participate, you must be a legal resident of one of the 50 US states and be at least 21 years old. Winners will be announced on August 2nd.
