The purpose of the action is to remind the public that the war in Ukraine continues. And Russia continues to bomb cities and kill Ukrainians.
“The war continues. We must not tire of repeating this. And together we must do everything in our power to end it,” said Oleksiy Golubov, Consul General of Ukraine in New York, at the rally.
He stressed that Ukraine would not agree to any conditions providing for the exchange of territories.

The Permanent Representative of the Czech Republic to the UN, Jakub Kulganek, also took part in the rally.
“The Czech Republic fully supports Ukraine, because it is not only about Ukraine,” Kulganek said in a comment to Ukrinform. “Ukrainians are fighting not only for their freedom, but also for us. Therefore, this support is very important for the Czech Republic.”
Czech society and politicians are unanimous on this issue.
“We don't just want Ukraine to win. We need it. Therefore, we actively help humanitarianly and with the supply of weapons,” Kulganek added.
