Ferry to Staten Island will now run all year round

Starting Monday, January 24, NYC Ferry operates flights to Governors Island on the South Brooklyn, Said Secret nyc. This service introduces additional stops. They give more NYC neighborhoods direct access to Governors Island!
Direct flights run between Yankee Pier on Governors Island from the Brooklyn waterfront to the Lower East Side. An additional stop is between Sunset Park/Brooklyn Army Terminal and Red Hook/Atlantic Basin.

Ранее Forum Daily New York reported that Governors Island is open to the public all year round. The island offers everything from cultural installations and historical monuments to street food trucks and unique restaurants. For example, on Governors Island there is Fort Jay, a former army post built back in 1794.
The South Brooklyn Line operates from 7:00 am to 18:00 pm on both weekdays and non-summer weekends, along with previous service from the Battery Maritime Building in Manhattan.

The South Brooklyn route will cease service following the launch of the Coney Island route in late 2022.
With the launch of the Coney Island route, passengers can expect faster access to Pier 11 in Lower Manhattan by adding a stop at Bay Ridge. And by spring 2022, Brooklyn weekend ferry service will return to Brooklyn Bridge Park-Pier 6 and Red Hook.
