Macy's Flower Show opens this weekend

What could be more inspiring at the start of spring than the famous annual Macy's Flower Show! It will open its doors on Sunday, March 24, reports SecretNYC.

The exhibition is open during regular business hours at Macy's Herald Square, 151 W 34 St. from March 24 to April 7. Entry is completely free.

“The famous spring floral tradition has enchanted generations of fans with its themed gardens for over four decades. They present thousands of fresh flowers, plants and trees from all over the world,” say the exhibition organizers.

This year, the colorful display was created in partnership with Dior. Their iconic Miss Dior perfume will be the centerpiece of the show, and the installation "Miss Dior: From Flower to Fragrance" begins with a field of roses and will be open until May 12, 2024.

The 49th annual event will “awaken and inspire the senses,” according to a press release. Guests will enjoy beautiful views of the floral arrangements on the main floor of the store. This year you can expect everything from a tunnel of flowers to blooming strawberries, floral kaleidoscopes and more!

“The Macy's Flower Show is all about colors, scents and spring. “We will take you on an exciting and colorful floral adventure,” said Will Koss, executive producer of the Macy’s Flower Show. “As we celebrate the start of the spring season, thousands of unique flowers, plants and trees will bloom throughout the store in a cohesive, harmonious aesthetic.”
