Pumpkin is one of the main symbols of Halloween, which is celebrated all over the world on October 31st. So it's time to visit one of the plantations and find the right pumpkin to create your magic lantern. At least six pumpkin plantations are located near New York City. Even with the quarantine, many pumpkin plantations in New York State are open to visitors today. Here are some of the most popular ones:
73-50 Little Neck Parkway in Floral Park
The pumpkin farm, ripe for harvest, will be open to visitors throughout October.
It will also host a Harvest Weekend with treats - donuts and locally produced apple cider.
The entrance to the territory is free. The fee is charged only for selected events. All proceeds are used to care for the farm and ensure its activities.
The pumpkin plantation will be open from 11 am to 16:30 pm on Saturdays and Sundays from October 3rd to 25th.
441 Clarke Avenue in Staten Island
This farm has real hayfields and labyrinths, and most importantly, pumpkin plantations! The latter are open to visitors on weekends from 3 to 31 October.

1624 Manatuck Boulevard in Bay Shore
Brightwaters, the oldest operating farm on the south coast of Long Island, kicked off its annual fall harvest festival on October 3 and will remain open to the public until Halloween.
The farm is open from 11:00 to 17:00 Wednesday to Friday and from 9:00 to 17:00 on weekends.
1500 E. Jericho Turnpike in Huntington
The pumpkin plantation at Elwood Farm was open to visitors on September 19. In addition to the plantation, there is also a corn maze.

Glover Farm is open for pumpkin harvesting until the end of October from 14:00 to 18:00 on weekdays and from 10:00 to 18:00 on weekends.

This family farm will run the annual fall festival until Halloween.
Guests can walk through the corn maze and peep into the haunted mansion!
The farm is open from noon to 17:00 on weekdays and from 10:00 to 17:00 on weekends. Pumpkins can be harvested daily.
