A prostitute from Queens killed 4 clients for money: with the body of one of them she lived in a hotel for 3 days

Due to the greed of Angelina Barini, four men died in the summer of 2019. Although her clients died from an overdose of sleeping pills, this did not stop the prostitute. District Judge Brian Cogan sentenced the convicted in Brooklyn Federal Court to 30 years in prison.

Barini, 43, gave lethal doses of drugs laced with fentanyl to three men on July 4, July 11 and August 5, 2019. And on August 18 of that year, she and her ex-boyfriend Leslie Lezcano lured Cipriani Dolci chef Andrea Zamperoni into a room at the Kamway Lodge motel in Elmhurst, Queens.

Lezcano hid in the bathroom on Barini's orders when the escort and the 33-year-old chef entered the motel room. According to federal prosecutors, she drugged Zamperoni with a lethal dose of the drug. And then left his body to rot while she and Lezcano came and went from the motel over the next three days.

That day, she brought sheets to wrap the Zamperoni, dragged a trash can outside, and even had two people fetch her a hacksaw. Barini at the same time searched the Internet for reports of the disappearance of the chef.

When NYPD officers knocked on the door of the room on August 21, 2019, they were suffused with putrid odor and incense. Barini blurted out that "the pimp made her do it." In the corner of the room, the police found Zamperoni's corpse, wrapped in bleached sheets and stuffed into a trash can.

Lezcano bought Gatorade and other products with Zamperoni's credit cards. And even tried to withdraw money from the chef in the casino.

“Barini's greed had fatal consequences. And whether or not the defendant intended to kill her victims, she showed a striking disregard for human life,” the government sentencing note said.

Barini knew she was bringing death from the start, prosecutors say.

In a series of Facebook posts on July 11, 2019, she mentioned that “one of them died.” She then said that a woman friend had blamed her for the death of the first victim because she had given the man "dog food" (a slang term for heroin).

“The defendant drugged and killed several people for a small amount of money. She stole their personal belongings while they were lying unconscious, dying from lethal pills, ”said Breon Peace, Attorney for the Eastern District of New York.

Last August, Barini pleaded guilty to two counts of distributing drugs resulting in a death, one count of distributing fentanyl, methamphetamine and cocaine, and one count of conspiring to distribute gamma-butyrolactone.
