Doctors and nurses from two hospitals in the states of New York and Michigan send an important musical message to all the terrified coronavirus inhabitants of the planet: “Do not stop believing.”

A video appeared on the Web that captured the medical staff of the New York Presbyterian Queens Hospital, dressed in protective gear. They have fun and dance to the famous song Don't Stop Believin, recorded in 1981 by Journey. All this action is organized for two discharged patients who recently defeated the virus. Patients at this time applaud the doctors, and one of them raises both fists into the air as a sign of victory.

Jacklyn Mucaria, President of New York-Presbyterian Queens, told Good Morning America that this song gives workers as much hope as patients.

“Every discharge from the hospital brings hope to the New York Presbyterian Queens staff. They are encouraged that their patients are recovering and returning home, ”Mukaria said.

Former cult lead singer Steve Perry also shared a video of a medical rendition of his song by writing in Twitter“I wanted to share a little joy from the Queens New York Presbyterian Hospital. They play Don't Stop Believin 'every time they discharge a patient with COVID-19. We will go through this together. #Do not stop believing".

The same song, which became a hit among doctors, is also heard in the halls of the Henry Ford hospital in Detroit, Michigan, when there is hope for a recovery from the patient with coronavirus.

“The song is a token of hope, a call to patients never to give up, and a motivational gratitude to tired, never-ending team members,” said Veronica Hall, President of Henry Ford Hospital and registered nurse.

She noted that this song was chosen because “the days can be long and hard and come with many losses and unprecedented stress, but you should never stop believing.”
