Rockefeller Center closes ice skating rink to replace it with a roller skating rink

New York City's new favorite spring attraction is back. For the second year in a row, Rockefeller Center's iconic ice skating rink has been replaced with a roller skating rink in the spring and summer. ABC7.
Last year, New Yorkers were thrilled with the arrival of Flipper's Roller Boogie Palace, which replaced the legendary ice rink for several months. His debut marked the first time since 1940 that the ice skating rink at Rockefeller Center was replaced with a roller skating rink.
Given the success and popularity, the rollerdrome is back again.
The inline skating season at Rockefeller Center will officially begin on April 14 and run through October. There will be weekly programs for children and adults.
Tickets start at $20 for adults and $12 for children under 15. The price does not include the rental of roller skates.
